Revitalizing Ujjain’s Spiritual Core: The Rudrasagar Lake Fountain Show Designed by Peach Prime Consultancy and Executed by Symphony Fountains
The sacred city of Ujjain, home to the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, is about to witness a transformative experience at Rudrasagar Lake—a landmark architectural musical fountain installation that brings together divine symbolism and advanced water artistry. Conceptualized by Peach Prime Consultancy and brought to life by Symphony Fountains, this soon-to-be-inaugurated musical water show is set to become one of India’s most immersive water music experiences.
Engineering the Divine: Installation Story
Unlike typical land-based fountain setups, the floating fountain system at Rudrasagar Lake posed a unique set of challenges. The entire 100-meter-long structure had to be assembled and tested on the ground, but due to space limitations, we could only construct 50 meters at a time.
Each segment was meticulously built, tested for fountain effects with sound, and quality-checked before being hoisted using cranes, hydras, and specialized equipment into the lake. Once the first 50-meter float was launched and made stable, the remaining half was assembled and integrated on the water itself.
This modular, on-ground-to-water execution required precise planning, coordination, and technical expertise—especially to ensure the perfect alignment of fountain nozzles, DMX lighting systems, and synchronized musical controls that define the show.
Technology Behind the Magic
This isn’t just a fountain—it’s a sensory pilgrimage. Equipped with cutting-edge fountain systems, underwater LED lights, and high-performance Aquatech float platforms, the fountain is designed to deliver flawless choreography of water, light, and sound. Every musical note is paired with dramatic water jets, dynamic lighting patterns, and mist-laced projections, creating a visual symphony that resonates with the spirituality of Mahakal Lok.

There were moments of uncertainty—especially when working with limited ground space and a tight assembly window.
